Astris is known since ancient years for its climate, the
famous vineyards and wine and the blue, relaxing seawaters.
In the area, you can find Psili Ammos, well - known since
Alexander's the Great period for its sandbaths.
In 500 m distance lies Aghia Paraskevi beach, a tiny and
very clean beach. The area is ideal for exploration and there
are many beautiful beaches, like Salonikios just opposite
to the Panaghia's island that was considered by Homer as the
island where the Sirens used to live.

Very close to Aghia Paraskevi beach you can visit Aghios
Vassilios beach where used to be the point of watching out
for pirates.
